Group counseling is a structured support process conducted in a safe environment under the guidance of a professional facilitator, where individuals come together based on shared or similar problems, developmental needs, or goals. In this process, participants express themselves, learn from one another, and experience personal change and growth.
Through group interaction, individuals have the opportunity to better understand themselves, improve their social skills, develop coping strategies, and receive emotional support.
Groups are structured to meet once a week for an average duration of 4 to 10 weeks. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
The counselor structures the process, manages group dynamics, and fosters a safe environment that encourages open communication among participants.
