On October 2, 2025, we held the first orientation event of the new term with students from the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture!

At the opening of the event, Clinical Psychologist Menekşe Baloğlu introduced our Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center (PDRM), explaining the psychological support, counseling, and awareness services offered by the center. She then addressed the students with her presentation on “Welcoming Emotions with Compassion.”

Through this gathering, we aimed to help students get to know PDRM more closely while establishing a warm, trust-based, and effective communication bridge between the center and faculty students.

This event marked the first stop of the PDRM Orientation and Information Seminar series we launched for the new term. Throughout the semester, we will continue visiting all faculties and schools of our university to reach both students and academic units. Our goal is to introduce the university community to PDRM’s role, services, and the importance of mental health awareness, while fostering a supportive campus culture.
